The Howland Township Trustees, Rick G. Clark, Matthew G. Vansuch, Sally B. Wehmer, are pleased to report that in these trying "economic times" the state of our Township is debt free and financially solvent.
Howland Township receives only 19% of every property tax dollar paid by Township residents. Howland Township Police, Fire and Road departments continue to operate on millage last voted in 1988. There has been NO INCREASE in TAXES for TOWNSHIP SERVICES since 1988.
Our continued goals:

Address major flooding and water runoff problems in the Township.

Fiscal Integrity

Continue to improve "Quality of Life" for our residents.
• Continue to work with O.D.O.T., Eastgate Regional Council of Governments and Trumbull County officials to provide a safe traveling environment for our community.

Continue to stimulate economic development in the Golden Triangle and other areas of the Township.
