In collaboration with the 2025 Ohio EPA Mosquito Control Grant Program and the Trumbull County Combined Health District, annual mosquito fogging for Howland Township will be conducted on Mondays and Tuesdays on the following dates:
May 5 & May 6 June 2 & June 3 July 7 & July 8 Aug 4 & Aug 5 Sept 8 & Sept 9
Why Mosquito Fogging is Important

Prevents Disease Spread - Helps reduce the risk of mosquito-borne illnesses such as West Nile Virus and Zika Virus.

Improves Public Health and Comfort - Minimizes mosquito bites, making outdoor activities more enjoyable.

Protects Pets & Wildlife - Reduces the risk of heartworm disease in pets and helps control mosquito populations that affect wildlife.

Environmentally Responsible - Uses EPA-approved treatments applied safely to target adult mosquitoes while limiting pesticide exposure.
