Howland Township sponsors a Leaf Pickup for Republic Service Customers Only.
In an effort to reduce costs, save taxpayer dollars and provide service, Republic Services will pick up a maximum of 10 bags of leaves per week during your weekly garbage pickup. All leaves and grass can be placed in paper OR plastic bags.
No need to purchase brown leaf bags. Please try to keep the bags of yard waste under 40 pounds.
BAGS MUST BE PLACE DIRECTLY NEXT TO YOUR TRASH CANS OR THEY WILL NOT PICK UP
Pick-up will begin Mid-October and go through the second week of December.
If you have someone other than Republic Services as your garbage hauler, you will have to check with them on their policy for leaf pickup.
