Registration Form      Announcement

Class Dates: August 12, 2019– December 23, 2019  

         Classes are held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6 PM to 10 PM,

         Saturday classes: October 12 & November 16

         CPR (BLS – Healthcare Provider) – September 28 from 9:30 AM – 3 PM.

         No class on Thursday, November 28, 2019 - Thanksgiving. Class will be held, Wednesday, November 27, 2019

Location: Howland Fire Department – Station 30

               169 Niles-Cortland Rd. NE, Warren

Cost:  $1,100.00 Registration Fee Includes CPR class, class shirt, books, materials & online learning management system

Cash, checks or money orders are accepted. (Payable to the Howland Training Center)

Additional Costs: BCI Background Check – To be completed on own

Class size: Limited to the first 26 eligible people that pay the class fee in full by the August 13th registration deadline.

Class Dates: Wednesday’s & Sunday’s: September 4, 2019 – December 18, 2019

          The State fire exam will be given on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Howland Station #30.

Times: Wednesday classes meet from 6 PM – 10 PM. Sunday classes meet from 8 AM - 4 PM (varies).

Location: Vienna Fire Department; 833 Youngstown Kingsville Rd, Vienna OH

Cost: Funding will be requested through the 2019/2020 State Fire Marshal Firefighter I Training Grant. Please be advised that this funding is first come, first served and may not be available. Below is the possible cost, please plan accordingly.

        $1100.00 Registration

        $1,230.00 Total

        $525.00 Rental Gear – Turnout Gear Rental, Inc (not included in Grant)

        BCI Background Check – To be completed on own

        Gear supplied from a sponsoring department must be within NFPA 10 yr. compliance
