NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
HOWLAND TOWNSHIP ZONING COMMISSION
Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.

 

In accordance with the provisions of the Ohio Revised Code Section 519, the Howland Township Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing within the hearing room at the Howland Township Administration Building, 205 Niles-Cortland Road NE, Warren, OH 44484. The purpose of the hearing is to accept public comment on a proposed map and text amendment to the Howland Township Zoning Resolution. If approved, the proposed map amendment will change the zoning district for much of Niles Cortland Road SE, south of the new SR46 and SR82 DDI interchange. The proposed zoning text amendment, if approved, will amend the Howland Township Zoning Resolution in several areas. A summary of the text changes can be found in the Text Amendment Summary and the Proposed Zoning Resolution document in full. Additionally, the existing and proposed zoning maps can be viewed on our website. The proposed map and text amendment in its entirety is available for public review at the Township Administration Building, 205 Niles-Cortland Road NE, Warren, Ohio, during regular business hours of 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday and is available for public examination at www.howlandtownship.org.  At the conclusion of this public hearing, the matter will be submitted to the Howland Township Trustees for their consideration.
