The Howland Training Center offers three courses in CPR Training: Heartsaver AED, BLS for the Healthcare Provider and First Aid. The Instructors with the Training Center combine the class curriculum with their years of experience to provide the best training available.
Course Descriptions:
The Heartsaver AED course is designed to train individuals in CPR for adult, child, and infant. It will show how to use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), as well as, how to deal with emergencies where someone is choking. This class is offered on the same days as the Heartsaver First-Aid classes.
The Heartsaver First-Aid class covers the same material as the Heartsaver AED class as well as teaching the steps of basic First-Aid.
The BLS for the Healthcare Provider class will train individuals in CPR for adult, child, and infant, use of the AED, and ventilations with use of advanced airway devices. This class is intended for those individuals in or those entering into the healthcare field, but is open to the public as well.
