Per the recommendation of Administrator James Pantalone, approve scheduling the first Warren-Howland-Warren (WHW) JEDD Board of Directors Meeting for Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Trumbull County Planning Commission, 185 E. Market St. NE, 2nd Floor, Suite A, Warren, Ohio 44484. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct the general business of the WHW JEDD including operational and financial functions.

A RESOLUTION TO SCHEDULE THE FIRST WARREN-HOWLAND-WARREN (WHW) JEDD BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
WHEREAS, the Township of Howland has entered into a Joint Economic Development District (JEDD) agreement with the City of Warren, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 715.72; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of a Board of Directors for the Warren-Howland-Warren (WHW) JEDD is required for the purpose of carrying out the duties and responsibilities set forth in the JEDD agreement and the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to convene the initial meeting of the WHW JEDD Board of Directors to organize and conduct official business; and
WHEREAS, Administrator James Pantalone has recommended the scheduling of the first WHW JEDD Board of Directors meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Township Trustees of Howland Township, Trumbull County, Ohio, that:
Section 1. The first Warren-Howland-Warren (WHW) JEDD Board of Directors Meeting shall be scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
Section 2. The meeting shall be held at the Trumbull County Planning Commission, 185 E. Market St. NE, 2nd Floor, Suite A, Warren, Ohio 44484.
Section 3. The Fiscal Officer is hereby directed to provide appropriate notice of this meeting in accordance with Ohio law.
